Just had this happen this week. One of our managers passed away on Friday, Sepsis and Pneumonia. Left behind a year old daughter. He was 38.
He's been out for 3 weeks, I've been scrambling to pick up his projects as a stopgap. Its so sad. This is the second time in less than 2 months that I've had a contemporary pass away, I'm really starting to feel my own mortality.
