It's pretty common knowledge that senators have notoriously difficult times
getting elected President of the United States. In my opinion, it's because
senators have voting records.

Governors always make better candidates (barring anything unusual like the
famous "Scream" by Howard Dean).

Now, it seems that most of the candidates are senators and former
senators... Biden, Clinton, Edwards, Obama, and Dodd. Plus congressman
Kucinich (whom I can't figure out why he even thinks he has a chance)

But there are two governors in the race. New Mexico Governor Bill
Richardson and former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack.

"President Richardson" actually sounds much better than "President Vilsack"
(and don't think that doesn't matter). I haven't really seen either of them
speak, but I've heard Governor Richardson on the radio and he sounds like a
pretty good speaker (unlike John Kerry, who is a terrible speaker in my
opinion)

Richardson has experience in Congress, as UN ambassador, and US Secretary of
Energy. Vilsack has pretty much only been a Governor (and Mayor of Mount
Pleasant!)

I really don't want to see Hillary get the nomination. I don't think she
can win. Nor do I think Obama or Edwards can win. None of them have enough
political experience to be President.

Rick
