Start simple.

I, Robot.

It's a collection of short stories written in the 40s and 50s. no
interconnecting story, just the development of robots. It's like
reading the pre-history of every robot story written since the 50s.
Most of what we consider standard robot traits were written by Asimov.

Then read Foundation.

then pick and choose from the extensive catalog ;-)
