In the first quarter, Peyton was duped into several bad throws, one of which
was picked off, and two others that SHOULD have been picked off. If the
Bears could have converted those turnovers, the game may have unfolded
completely differently.

After halftime, Dungy made the strategic decision to run the football.
Urlacher and the lads were unable to stop the run, from a purely physical
standpoint in my opinion. They got outblocked, essentially.

So, I don't think this was the typical Colts victory, where Manning scans
the defense at the line and then puts his guys in the right position to
exploit the holes, usually downfield. I think it was quite the opposite,
Dungy actually more or less took the load off of Manning, choosing to play
more straightforward football...and just beating the Bears D at the point of
attack. And it worked.

So I don't think the Bears got outschemed by Manning, but they got
outplayed, and Dungy's strategy in the second half proved to be a good one.
