I have no idea who really did it. The U.S. still says they had no role. It
begins to look like an internal issue- either Sunnis hoping to draw Iran
into the battle, or Shiites looking to do the same. It's rapidly becoming a
free-for-all there, and unfortunately it looks like the Iraqis themselves
are choosing to duke it out with car bombs and executions rather than try to
work out a political agreement.
