I have found quite a few interesting gigs on craiglist.org. The key
point there is understanding that telecommuting jobs have to be posted
somewhere, and there are limits to how many locations you can put an
identical post up in. So click around. I have found stuff on the
London, Washington DC, and LA craigslists.

there are also some subscription services that I haven't tried yet. If
someone has, I'd be interested in opinions. And don't forget the tried
and true -- networking. The best gigs don't get advertised.
