"A 42-year-old construction worker who tried unsuccessfully to storm an all-inclusive Carnival house party at Maracas Village, St Joseph on Sunday, got drunk instead, fell asleep against the back tyre of a truck and had his head crushed when the truck reversed a few hours later. Police reports yesterday revealed that Lewis Manson alias "Louis" told relatives that he wanted to attend the All-Inclusive Carnival fete on Sunday at a house located close to the Maracas Police Station, but he did not have the $250 for the ticket. He walked some distance from his home to the house party and tried to get in but was prevented from doing so. Manson then began drinking heavily. At about 12.35 am, he sat against the back tyre of a delivery truck and fell asleep. At about 2 am while the driver was driving the vehicle out of the Maracas Royal Road, he accidentally crushed the head of Manson who was killed instantly.
