Okay, somebody just shoot me now! I spent several hours yesterday shoveling and only got my walkway done and halfway down my driveway....and only one side of it finished before dark fell. I went out to get the rest of it done today...and find that overnight it's basically become rock-hard all the way down. Basically 4 inches of solid, unmoveable snow. Stupidly I tried to break through it with my boot...and just ended up sliding down the driveway on my butt! Gotta love that super-steep driveway. Well, so much for the snow shovel, I had to take a regular shovel, wedge it under the snow and try and crack it into pieces I could then carry and toss aside. Basically like tossing little cinderblocks around for several hours! I did get one side of the driveway done, it looks like a construction site with all these giant pieces of snow piled along the side. And there's still the 1/4 mile of sidewalk I'm supposed to clear as well. Yeah right! This is just too much for a weaking little girl like me to handle.
