Does your BT software list available services on the phone? Mine's
got a little explorer plugin, that lists the device and available services.

Looks sorta like "My Network Neighborhood", but it's all bluetooth.

Does your phone not also have a USB connection option?

One of the things that I rant on all the time is how verison hobbled
my freaking razr. Took out the file transfer service, bastards, just
to make a couple bucks per ring tone or whatnot. Just plain sucks.

It came from Motorola able to do it, how come once Verison gets
ahold of it, it disappears?

Anyways, with a usb connection, and bitpim, and a couple of
other programs, I was able to do what I wanted, sorta, but I
haven't bothered to reflash/enable the disabled functions, as
I'm a little bit of a pussy about voiding warranties at times.

Go surf one of the phone boards for your model, and you'll
see if it's possible or not (oh, your provider will matter as
well, obviously-- verision, you got good service, but ARRRG!).

Man I love messing with the stuff tho. Phreakie. [-|
