It's your day, ok well technically it's not , it's your wife's day. you are just a mandatory participant (stay out of the way except for when you are required then don't be more than 4 feet away). Your friends should (and probably do) realize this and are just happy for the two of you and for being invited to participate in your celebration. Don't be too concerned.
