Agreed, Guss. At an old job, the head of IT (who was a complete idiot) would never share any information out of fear if too many people knew, he'd be less valuable.
Fortunately his replacement (and the guy who actually pushed me into IT) had the 'teach a man to fish' attitude as opposed to the 'feed a man a fish' attitude.
