And how could we even do that anyway? Iraqis need to choose that and they've had PLENTY of time too. At some point we have to say that we've given them enough time to form a government, get a military, get police and secure themselves. 5 years seems like plenty. To me America is the cop in the middle of a redneck marriage dispute. No matter how much that cop says cool down, until they decide to cool down, they're gonna fight. So you have 2 choices: throw them in jail or let 'em fight it out. With Iraq, we can either throw them all in jail or let them fight it out.
