The gate where the bomb went off was just outside the Egyptian Hospital, that's why a South Korean and an American were killed.
That isn't anywhere near where a VIP of that level would be staying. I think it's BS. The bomb went off, they found out dude was there, and they are trying to capitalize off of his presence, no more no less. -- Timothy Heald Senior Developer/Architect HR/EX/SDD, SA-1, H808F Desk: 202-663-2752 Fax: 202-261-8299 Cell: 703-300-3911 -----Original Message----- From: Robert Munn [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, March 01, 2007 3:46 AM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: This Cheney/Taliban Thing My guess is they found out the VP was in-country and had the base under observation so they figured he hadn't left, but honestly, to call this an attempt on the VP is a huge stretch. Cheney was apparently a mile away from the main gate where the bomb went off.
