I tried one once at a store... really sucked. You, of course, get no tactile feedback at all, but you also have to be really, really deliberate in your typing - go even somewhat fast and it misses things left and right. Finally you also seem have to splay your fingers a lot more than I was comfortable with - the sensor is above them so it seemed to miss a lot of thumb and pinky action - but that may be to my big ham-hands.
