Four family members traveling from Long Beach to Grand Junction, via Salt Lake City, for a wedding in June. We booked the necessary flights, got the seat next to each other and allowed plenty of connection time in Salt Lake (50 minutes). All booked. All happy. $400 per person, steep but what the hell.
Today... I get an email in regards that your flight has been changed. Not one flight, but ALL flights. Now, we have 15 minutes after we land in Salt Lake City to catch the flight to Grand Junction. So I know that the luggage will not arrive in Grand Junction. The four of us, all on the same itinerary, are all over the plane... two in the front, one in the middle, and one in the back. BUT.. coming back home, the flight from Salt Lake City to Long Beach... has one of us flying stand by. BULL$HIT! So... called DELTA. Talk to someone in India which was useless. Was transferred to someone that spoke English, but that person was unable to help. I was transferred to a supervisor. On hold for 35 minutes, then click... dead! So.. later tonight, I will call again.
