Ah. I get it. I ran into something like that once- Went to a party in the
heights, and this chick was like, "oh, you're from below San Mateo"- I
think she was serious tho. =-]

Heh. Not the same at all, but I was getting a burrito (a freaking HUGE,
YUMMY, $8 burrito the size of my head (and I got a BIG head)) at this
joint (Hurricanes)- about 100 feet from where the family office supply
store used to be-- Got me all nostalgic, memories of hooking up alarm
systems till 3am, getting paid with an Atari F-16 game and a flight-stick...
*sigh* Those were the days. Disk not working? Hit it with a blow dryer!
Ah yeah... that food joint was there then, and still is now. It'll go,
probably in my lifetime-- Guess we gotta eat our burritos while we
can, or whatnot, neh? Only change is unchanging.

Indeed. We're working on a MUCH shorter time scale with the sediment and
whatnot.
What gets me is, you can SEE these pictures from space, you know, like of
the
city lights and whatnot. We're all over the planet. Sure, we're small, and
alone,
couldn't hope to hurt the planet on any type of real scale (forest fire? Not
really)-
but all taken into account, we're a freaking Force!
It seems like common sense that living without regard for the future, or the
environment, would catch up to us-- frankly, I'm really surprised we didn't
want to take credit- I guess we only want to be seen as controlling the good
stuff, neh? Yeah, human nature, for most people, I reckon. :-/
I'm pretty sure that pumping all this crap into the atmosphere has effects,
maybe acid rain has now been debunked? Or is this stuff still coming down
into/with our water? I don't know, but I remember in grade-school : That's
Venus. Once, it might have been like Earth, a long time ago-- looks like
once you get to a certain level, the stuff gets trapped by the atmosphere,
and boom, all life is dead, or whathaveyou. -- Let's try not to do that.
Love of money makes us do strange, and unhuman (how is that possible,
as anything we do is human, thus, nothing could be inhuman?) things.
Bah.

Are you kidding me? I've had 2 beers in like 8 months.
And I was volunteer alcoholic -- so don't give me Edgy!
Just kidding. I love me beer, but it's the socializing I miss, and need to
get back on the ball with-
Id est, I need to go drinking. Indeed.
But what I REALLY mean is, I'm aware of the swamps, and the sediment.
I think the two ("global warming" and land-loss) share some things, but
that's just me
being silly and seeing everything as being all connected and what have you.

Oh don't give me that fault crap! You care! It's ok, man, we won't think
you're
any less masculine for it. At least I don't. Seems sorta Aware, even. =-P
We're on a big fault here. Shake'n' all the time, really. Makes me feel
good,
knowing that, actually. Sorta that old lady looking out the window of the
airplane as Arthur is scrogging on the wing.
What we see is not what is, woot!
And, from Mark Millar:
The political allegory is only for those that are politically aware.
Kids are going to read it and just see a big superhero fight.
Let's not make Black Bolt move Attilan again! ;-)
To sum it up, I'm down with the big disasters. Woot!
Bang- to the moon! Hehehehe.
*cough* yeah, sorry. My "herd" of neurons hasn't been culled for a bit...
Hmmm... maybe I DO like the alkeyhal itself too... yup. Can't deny.
The sad bit, is if I was plastered right now, this would probably
make more sense. Marvel, indeed! SHIZAM! LOL. *sigh*
I love this song: Nightlite (feat. bajka) by Bonobo, off of Days to Come
(Squeaky balloons + violin + Bajka = goot sounds!)
Yeah. Well, sorry R-man, got carried away. Thanks for answering
my questions, you're more interesting now somehow. I like to think
we're all Family, in a way, Br'er Madere. You better hope this ain't
genetic! LOL, oh I crack me up. =]
See ya later, my good man! Apologies for the uncoherentness!
