One thing I am having trouble with in Vista is if I move a large folder from
one location to another (over a network or between two local hard drives) it
has a nasty habit of freezing. The PC still works fine but the move
operation locks up requiring a reboot to free up the files for another
attempt.

I have noticed this on a few small moves as well but it is really noticeable
if you try to move a folder of 3Gb or more, I guarantee it won't complete.

I have replicated this on another machine as well.

No worries bud, Ultimate edition really is ULTIMATE, I love it, that
compatibility tip comes in pretty handy as UE is quite different from the XP
architecture and it'll take the app devs a while to get their head around
it.

Glad it worked,

Rob
