Um. So it is ok for politicians for ask an attorney general to investigate an opponent and have him fired if he does not comply?
Party affiliation aside, any references to Bill's blowjob aside...does it seem like a good thing? What if you aren't running against a politician, you just criticize them... is it ok for them to urge that the weight and might of a federal investigation be levelled against you? The only thing keeping the system fair is the integrity of the Attorneys General. So hopefully they are people who have demonstrated that htey have some. But wait... that doesn't matter any more, because the president can appoint *anyone he wants* and thanks to the Patriot Act Congress will no longer have any say in the matter. And that's ok? Really? Would you want Nancy Pelosi to be able to urge that you be investigated?
