Um. So it is ok for politicians for ask an attorney general to investigate an 
opponent and have him fired if he does not comply?

Party affiliation aside, any references to Bill's blowjob aside...does it seem 
like a good thing? What if you aren't running against a politician, you just 
criticize them... is it ok for them to urge that the weight and might of a 
federal investigation be levelled against you?

The only thing keeping the system fair is the integrity of the Attorneys 
General. So hopefully they are people who have demonstrated that htey have 
some. But wait... that doesn't matter any more, because the president can 
appoint *anyone he wants* and thanks to the Patriot Act Congress will no longer 
have any say in the matter. 

And that's ok?
