Don't jump to quick, while they don't smelt the slug today, it doesn't mean
they can't, or wouldn't.

The bullet is part of the gun, regulating the ammunition is just as
prohibited by the 2nd amendment as is regulating the sale of the gun. The
founding fathers didn't intend to leave the people with nothing more than a
long club or spear to fend off invaders equipped with ammunition.

The 2nd amendment is designed to allow the people to ensure the security of
the country, state, and the house from threats.
