I'm pretty sure I joined CF-Community when it formed. I can't remember when that was exactly, but I was pretty active on the CF-Talk list at the time and I'm pretty sure I joined CF-Community within a couple of days of (if not the day of) it's birth. I left the list for awhile during one of the most heinous bitter argument periods, and then re-joined a year or so later.
I was just looking at the Mail Archive site to see if it goes back any farther than HOF.com, and it looks like the first post recorded there was from July 5th, 2000. It was a post debating contractor rates, which I remember sparking quite a heated debate of "price fixing " and the legal ramifications of discussing rates on the list.
