I just read an interview by Governor Blanco about the response to Hurricane
Katrina. She really sounded like Hillary with the "Great Right Wing
Conspiracy." While she did not mention his name, I'm sure she was thinking of
Halley Barber the entire time she was being interviewed.

In a nutshell, she blamed all of the problems Louisiana has on her being a
Democrat and the congress in September 2005 being Republican. While partisan
politics might have played a SMALL role in this, the biggest problem was her
LACK OF LEADERSHIP AND DECISIVENESS!

While Gov Barber ordered an evacuation on 8/27, Gov Blanco didn't. Gov Barber
moved state resources out of the area where the most damage was expected in
anticipation of bringing them back into the area immediately after the storm
while Gov Blanco left hundreds of busses in the New Orleans area to get
flooded. Gov Barber immediately after the storm moved state resources into the
disaster area while Gov Blanco whined about needing federal help for months
after the storm but didn't deploy any state resources until 48 hours after
landfall.

But of course, this is all the Republican's fault because she is a Democrat.
Her actions had nothing to do with the problems.

Enough ranting. My blood pressure is way up.
