don't remind me! > I'm still pissed at your Tigers for the way they played against the > Cardinals last year.....grrrrrrrr. Hey, I was in Vegas for MAX... imagine how *I* felt! Thanksfully, I didn't bet on the games, cuz I probably would've bet the Tigers! > Chad Durbin is a Royals cast off. Chew on that for a second. True, he's no spring chicken anymore! He actually had probably the best minor league season of his career last year with Toledo, starting 28 games with a 3.11 ERA and striking out 149 in 185 innings. The good thing is that his walks were WAY down last year. I don't think he'll ever amount to much... I mean once you've been playing professional baseball for 11 full seasons, your chances of becoming a regular are pretty slim. =) But it's spring. Hope springs eternal, and for me.. that means hoping Chad Durbin pitches well in his first major league starts since 2004. Verlander is just plain nasty. Bonderman is solid. I've got 15 W's for > Bonderman, 18 for Verlander. Bonderman has had flashes and streaks of brilliance... he's never put together a full season start to finish. Hard to believe the guy is starting his 5th full major league season, and he's only 24 years old. Last year was his best year in every category... ERA, WHIP, Winning percentage, games, innings, strikeouts... I think this is gonna be HIS year to shine. It is a great time of the year. I need to go buy me some durham bulls tix.
