That is great, Ray. Absolutely great! Down here in FL, the exact opposite is going on. There are houses in my Dad's neighborhood that have been on the market for a year, have dropped their prices 60-80K (on a 220K home), and still arent selling. And these are nice houses. We may be buying one just as an investment.
As a Navy brat who moved a lot, try to sell, give away and throw away absolutely as much as you can before moving. Especially big pieces. They have them where you are moving, and if you were looking at buying a new [whatever] soon, then just do without it for a few months till you can afford to buy a new one.
