Yes I would consider both of those countries socialist nations.  Asides
from the health care thing I would consider the US pretty damned close.

not sure what Hillary supports. But unless you consider Canada and
Britain socialist countries, universal health care is not the same thing
as socialism. If you do, well, then I guess it boils down to different
