Yeah, I've always just either sent HTML or text and used the type=""
attribute in the <cfmail> tag itself.

I've never used mailparts with cfmail. Maybe I'm an idiot. But, I've
never ever used em. I've always just sent the text between the open
and close mail tag. We usually send plain text. But, on the few
occasions where I've needed to send html, that seems to have worked
fine, too.
