I'm seriously thinking of switching to a Mac now that you can pretty easily run Windows in parallel...or boot to it separately. My current 1 gig XP system just constantly chokes when working in Photoshop and just about anything else at the same time, but most of my development work is pretty Windows-dependent at this point. I just wonder if it's worth the expense to switch.
