Ma'am - you have misunderstood my point which I will accept responsibility for and restate for clarity: I posited that anyone who insists on somebody's workplace resignation for a botched joke for which they apologized was not honorable. I'm not sure why you'd think that to be "invincibly ignorant" as I'm perfectly willing to change my view if someone has a good argument.
