(1.) His show is a "variety show", one part of which is comedy, and he was laughing when made the comment. It's clear he wasn't saying that the entire teams was literally nappy-headed hoes, he was using it as a metaphor to describe their toughness and meant it in a comical way. (2.) Nobody, including Imus, is making any excuse for what he said. He's admitted it, taken full responsibility holding only himself accountable, and apologized. Whatever is in his past is irrelevant. In this case he's admitting his fault, has apologized to his listeners and to the team personally, and the team has accepted his apology. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 The most significant release in over 10 years.
