Yeah, that's often what I come home from a weekend of shooting with. But don't 
really do it often enough to need quite *that* much space just yet.

Yes, I've had that experience as well. 

I've generally bought Dells in the past, but just get annoyed with the 
relatively small amount of options they have. I was thinking of getting a 
system from Xi this time, looks like they can build to just about any spec you 
want.

And you're often paying a premium for something that will give relatively 
little visible improvements. I generally try to go with one or two steps down 
from the "latest and greatest" as you say.
