It�s bad news no matter how you look at it, declaring the intifada over is just a wish come true and a nightmare over for Sharon, maybe trying to call it Guerilla war will give him more ideas, cause his promise to end the Intifada In 100 days using any force, well its been over 18 months, I don�t think his brilliant plan is working out. His own people are turning against him, his military is turning against him, last month it was 20-30 soldiers refusing to serve, now it�s over 250, a few days ago 20,000 Israelis protested in Israel demanding the end of the occupation, that never happened before, even people in his Knesset are now saying the price of peace is the end of occupation, to solve a problem you got to look at its cause, and what bigger cause can you have. http://www.commondreams.org/headlines02/0217-01.htmhttp://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2002/02/17/MN144828.DTLThe US goes into Afganistan and ousts the Taliban for a better life , for freedom, now they want to do the same in Iran and Iraq, fine, but how about the Palestinians ? the Iranians are not crying and dying to be liberated, nor are the Iraqies, but the Palestinians are, how come the US is not in such a rush to liberate them.All yell in the name of freedom and justice for all yet when it comes to the Palestinians, who remain the only people on the face of the earth, still living in occupation and still labeled as living in occupied territories, they are called terrorist for demanding not to live free and fighting the occupation, and people are calling it good news cause there intifada Is over, there fight to refuse to live under the barrel of the tanks and occupation, that is good news ?. The real bad news is that a war has just started, and that�s way more bad news for Israel than the Palestinians. As for good news, I don�t think there is any good news.
