I still have not made up my mind about a french press. I prefer the cone type
(Melita) coffee makers that make one or two cups of coffee at a time. With good
freshly ground coffee, like Celebes Kalossi (almost as good as Jamaican Blue
Mountain), and the appropriate grind, I don't go near starbucks any more.

There's a coffee shop nearby that has a great name Bad Ass - mainly sells
Hawaiian coffees. Not bad, but I like their bumper stickers "Friends don't let
friends drink Starbucks."
