Of course you did! Damn, man, it would be silly - nay, fiscally and socially irresponsible - NOT to get HD! Does your wife not love your children? Does she want the record of your lives together to feature grainy, leprous, twitchy images due to horrible SD recording and lack of image stabilization? HD means that in your golden years together you'll still be able to see your prides and joy clearly and wondrously even as your eye-sight fades. Isn't maintenance of your legacy together, the record of your undying love on this earth, worth a few extra pennies? You wouldn't skimp on your pension plan would you? Why would you skimp on your future memories? Won't somebody think of the children?! (How's that?)
