"The Wii isn't selling _because_ it's underpowered (it is) it's selling _in spite_ of it. Nintendo hit the curve on the burgeoning casual gamer market perfectly (although there's still some question whether the Wii has any staying power)."
I didn't mean to imply that it was selling becuase it was underpowered :). I was implying just what you said. It was selling in spite of its lack of horsepower. It is fun, and in the end, that is what a lot people want. The Wii's staying power looks better and better everyday. If they keep selling units like they are, then developers will keep making games. They love large install bases. As far as apple is concerned, I agree that they can't emulate Nintendo. They might want to try a niche market for games though. Maybe Adventure type games instead of FPS. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion MX7 and Flex 2 Build sales & marketing dashboard RIAâs for your business.
