Yup - one of the channels (on mine it's the upper right hand corner on the
first screen) is the "Shop Channel" (I think).  You DO NOT use the web
browser to buy stuff (remember that the Web Browser - the "Internet Channel"
- is optional).  The animation for the channel is very bad - most of the
time it doesn't have any words on it at all so it's a little hard to pick
out of the crowd.

In my case I can't do this because the Wii's WiFi antenna is so poor that I
can't make a connection 75% of the time and when I do it takes me over 10
minutes to download a TurboGraphix game (less than  100kb).  The routers
only 20' from the Wii across a mostly open room.  Looks like I'll be
spending some money on the Ethernet adapter.

(I'm sorry - I really do like the Wii.  It IS just as fun as everyone says
but the console hardware itself is so damn chintzy in so many ways!)
