I haven't been following this thread, so my response will probably be way off topic.
More of a rant than anything else. I've hated inkjet printers since they day they were invented. My first NON dot matrix printer was a Panasonic KXP-4400 Sidewriter laser printer (I think they actually called it an LED printer)... then an HP LaserJet 6L.. and now a ultra cheap Samsung laser printer (I can't recall the model number). toner cartridges last way longer than ink carts, are relatively easy to refill (I bought a refill kit on ebay).. and I'm golden. Of course, if ya need color.... well, color lasers get a bit expensive. But I've also *NEVER* seen the need for color myself.
