Yes, for 3 reasons: (1.) Historically the justice department's work is, and should be, independent. That is, who's hired is political, but once they're in, they're in. If you start firing USAs for political reasons, that incents them to pursue political prosecutions and/or to prioritize their work based on politics rather than law. So the question becomes, do we want political USAs? If no, then that's poor leadership and Gonzo should go. (2.) Comey's testimony shows that Gonzo has a history of placing politics above the law, and that's not the leadership we should want for the Whitehouse. (3.) Gonzo's testimony to Congress on numerous occasions says that he's either a liar (and, therefore, a criminal) or incompetent. Again, not leadership we want. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion MX7 and Flex 2 Build sales & marketing dashboard RIAâs for your business.
