I don't know who it was right off hand and ebay took the auction down
so I can't refer back to it.  It's funny now though because the
winning bidder was the scammer.  They've sent forged emails from
"paypal" that happens to go back to another email address.  The emails
are crafted pretty good.  The first one says that they've made a
mistake and the account was verified and to go ahead with the
transaction.  The second one said that paypal had received an instant
payment and that it would be released to me as soon as I provided a
tracking number, "to protect both parties".  The third email was
supposedly from the guy who won it stating that he bought it for his
son who's on an exchange program.

Aside from the email address that you're replying to (and they're
halfway believable) the emails all look legit.

very good scam.....It's kind of ironic that the shipping address is in
Nigeria. :)
