I thought they talked about the possibility of a multi-generational long term war.
I always expect far higher casualties than "predicted" and have been very surprised at how low our combat deaths have been. Then again I'm a paratrooper. We were told to expect 60% casualties on the dropzone, out of a division of 15,000. I don't think about money when I think about war. -----Original Message----- From: Gruss Gott [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, May 23, 2007 8:41 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: Great perspective on the War > Dana wrote: > Here Sam > http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/iraq/2003-03-31-then-and-now-usat_x.htm > Regardless of the specific I'm curious to know what the war supporters thought at the time. Are you implying that you impression was something along this line: * 90% of our active and reserve will be tied up for a decade or more. * It'll likely cost $1 Trillion or more * We can expect 10,000+ dead Americans If not, what was your impression of the troops, dollar, and lives spend? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion MX7 by AdobeĀ® Dyncamically transform webcontent into Adobe PDF with new ColdFusion MX7.
