I'm not always completely coherent when I leave for work in the
morning and will usually forget.  I also record some hdtv on that same
pc and when iTunes is running, it causes stuttering in the recording.
iTunes on windows does seem to be a resource hog.  None of my other
programs seem to affect hdtv recording like it does.
