I'd call it an elaborate form of suicide myself. Grizzlies and polar bears are the only animals in North America who still consider people as legit prey. If you have to go after a grizzly (and I know a couple of people at the BC dept of natural resources who have to) you use the heaviest firearm you can handle and that's legal. Those things are mean. When I was working at a mine in the interior of BC I saw one tear off the side of a cook shack that was listed as bear proof, in order to get at the food.
