i just came across an article on switches and relay switches and that sort and ended up reading on a guy who built a computer out of relay switches. I finally KINDA get the idea of how an abstract computer works. What I still don't understand is, how is the information stored? and how can u give instructions like additions or subtractions to a bunch of blinking lights and make it mean something? I still can't get that into my head. A diagram or analogy would help!
