So in theory, if we were able to make an object that long, we can send information, faster than light, by tugging and pulling (or twirling!) it? This is if the movement was instantaneous. Like lets say it takes 5 minutes for a signal to reach mars (signal travel at or close to speed of light). if we could have something really long, longer than 300,000,000 meters (which is the distance it takes light to travel in one second) between earth and mars, we can send information just by twirling or tugging and pulling this object. Except the information gets there instantly!
IF not, let's say it takes 5 seconds or 2. it doesnt matter, if it wasn't instantaneous, then we can say, that for a short time, the time it took for the other end to move, the pencil shrunk in length?? Isn't that a weird thought? man i still feel unsatisfied and still confused? HAHA maybe i'm not thinking it out right. I wish i could make an animation of what i'm trying to say. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion MX7 by AdobeĀ® Dyncamically transform webcontent into Adobe PDF with new ColdFusion MX7.
