ANything. From little 80K word document to 6MB Powerpoint presentations, to 10MB Autocad drawings.
But! After it happens the first time for the day, it seems to open more quickly thereafter. Until I leave it alone for a while...then its back to these loooong waits. I'm using FileMon to see whats going on in the interim, but all I see is Microsoft Outlook accessing the .pst file, and then Microsoft Word starts to open.... and then nothing. A bunch of other things happen in between, like messenger accesses....I might go back to the webbrowser to surf while I wait. Then WHAMMO BLAMMO! Word file accesses go crazy and the file opens. Happens with going to a web page link in Firefox as well. It doesn't seem to be the file itself...but almost the hand off or 'triggering' of the link to open the second program, whether Word, Firefox, powerpoint or what have you.
