I got this From the NY Post. February 28, 2002 -- Trailer-trash queen Tonya Harding and "Long Island Lolita" Amy Fisher will duke it out in the boxing ring - all for a Fox special airing March 13. The show, "Celebrity Boxing," will also feature "Partridge Family" star Danny Bonaduce sparring with "Brady Bunch" star Barry "Greg Brady" Williams.
Does it get any better than this? "It's really being done for fun and for the humor - and for these people to laugh at themselves," Mike Darnell, Fox's head of alternative programming, told The Post. "And right now there's a big fascination with boxing. A lot of Hollywood right now is into boxing for exercise." Darnell said the matches will be real - and will include a referee, a doctor and a ring announcer.
