If Dave posted every time there was a critical update to a MS product, there
would be a lot more Dave posts. He's a fanboi, no doubt, of Apple, but we
all have our little quirks. :-)

It seemed like much of the comments were hypocritical, or feature
request-ish,
which is neither here nor there. As for standards compliance... IE doesn't,
the
new IE /still/ doesn't, and meanwhile MS is off "improving" the definition
of XML.

Which is cool, I mean, it takes all types, you know? Just seems funny that
MS
folks would be "all about the bugs" in Safari, or whatnot- lack of
customizability,
lack of plug-ins, etc... Just really strange, considering the bundled
security hole
that comes with the OS, is devilishly merged with the OS, and is called IE.

The best comment to me was this one:

*6. Another reason I can't justify buying a Mac.* Until this week, web
developers had an air-tight excuse for needing a Mac Mini or Mac Book – they
needed to ensure that their web site or application was compatible on that
"other" platform and Safari was only available on OS X. Damn you Apple!

Now that I can agree with. *sniff*

Heh. Not really invested in anything, personally. I do like FireFox a lot.

Which may change, if it becomes like "that popular restaurant", or "that
good dentist"
(at least for day to day browsing-- if it's the best dev tool still, I'd
still use it for that)

And we don't know each other besides from HoF lists, that I'm aware of.
Just been
a bit since I saw your addy, I was thinking, and thus, the comment. :-)
Hope life is
/has been treating you well.

PS I'm not the most observant banana in the bunch, so maybe you've been
posting
like crazy and I'm oblivious, or we hate each other, and I forgot. [= If so,
my bad!
