Well, because I used to know LOTS AND LOTS of people in those circumstances including me! I couldn't save up the money either because I wasn't making enough to live, but, after using that as an excuse for a few years, I just had to bite the bullet and max out a credit card. I lived in my car for awhile, and then got an apartment. And all those people I know? I still see them occasionally and they're still using the same excuses I was. Even though I've told them over and over exactly what to do, sent them job offers, etc. I'm not saying everyone is like that, but I am saying many are. Here's a contrast for you: my brother hires "down on their luck" people that have resume problems: felony, new immigrants, just got out of rehab, etc. 99% of the time the Hmong, Somali, and Mexicans stay with his company forever or until they get a better gig. Many go to night school, raise a family, and live in communal housing until they get on their feet. My brother helps them with all of this. He'll even pay their bills prior to giving them the money. The Americans? Many, if not most, wash out in a week and the reason is always the same: they don't want to work. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| CF 8 â Scorpio beta now available, easily build great internet experiences â Try it now on Labs http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=labs_adobecf8_beta Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:236913 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
