I guess I'll start with "military" movies... Lawrence of Arabia shouts "No Prisoners! No Prisoners!" before leading a cavalry charge into Aquaba. Col Nicholson (Alec Guiness) in Bridge on the River Kwai, finds the wire connecting the explosives on his beloved bridge to the detonator and ends up blowing up the bridge by falling on the plunger after getting shot. The final charge of the Light Horse in "Galipoli" especially Archie at the very end. The beach @Normandy in "Saving Private Ryan" (mostly 'cause it was teh first to really hit you in teh face with a 'realistic' depiction of that day) Morgan Freeman's prayer in "Glory" Walking scenes (characters walking someplace to do a job...or what-have you)... dunno why this struck me. Resevoir Dogs Oceans 11 (the original) The Magnificent Seven Unforgiven West Side Story (when the Sharks and the Jets are introduced) ....Comedy... "It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses." "Hit it" (Of course, that movie is just chock full o'stuff... -- will "If my life weren't funny, it would just be true; and that would just be unacceptable." - Carrie Fisher ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Macromedia ColdFusion MX7 Upgrade to MX7 & experience time-saving features, more productivity. http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion?sdid=RVJW Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:237053 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
