Well I made it. I'm here in Alexandria at the Holiday Inn and Suites. Signal strength for the complimentary wireless is LOW in my room and I can't get online there. Damn. I'm in the hotel lobby now. Oh well.
Went to the zoo today to see the Pandas, took some pics and bought a t-shirt for my little girl. Gotta try to find a sports bar tonight to watch the baseball game (Tigers-Braves)... maybe I'll just go down to the ESPN Zone... depends on how late the hotel shuttle to the metro runs.
