she didn't. She now has a job with benefits. Note that she went to college and did all the things she is supposed to do. She just took the retirement home job while she was looking for a better job. But it took her years to pay off the debts incurred by having an absessed tooth before she found it.
If you had looked a little closer, I think you would have seen that she actually mostly agrees with you.
