Tony,

In the WII control panel, there is an option at the bottom right called
messages. When you select that you will see another nice little not thought
out option area. But at the bottom left there is an Icon that says create
message.

When you create message you will then get your address book, from here you
can then add WII or Friends. So you can even add peoples email address
rather than just their WII console.

Now before you can do anything both parties (WII consoles) need to have
added the information.

Kind of sucks a little, because it should send a message to that Wii asking
if they want to allow that Wii or not...

Oh well maybe one day down the track when Nintendo get their act together
they may redesign the GUI a bit. Like Xbox 360 has done its starting to look
a little better, not perfect but better.
